When you fail to see anything clear
In your hearts broken mirror
If multitudes of those reflections
Ever blurs you perception
And you wonder who you really are
Daughter, mother or a lover
A lonely princess locked up in some tower
Or perhaps something dark that you fail to see so clear
Look into my eyes for once dear
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
You are my life’s inspiration
Source of all my poetic creations
It’s not that I never wrote before
But just careless musings and chaos galore
Never had any meaning or purpose in store
It’s for thee now I weave my words
In your hearts broken mirror
If multitudes of those reflections
Ever blurs you perception
And you wonder who you really are
Daughter, mother or a lover
A lonely princess locked up in some tower
Or perhaps something dark that you fail to see so clear
Look into my eyes for once dear
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
You are my life’s inspiration
Source of all my poetic creations
It’s not that I never wrote before
But just careless musings and chaos galore
Never had any meaning or purpose in store
It’s for thee now I weave my words
You are my gravitas, my gravity
Without you, I loose my depth
Unhinged I am from reality
Look into my eyes for once dear
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
You belong to me, you are my soil
I shall honour you with my sweat and toil
Thy barren heart I shall plough
And irrigate you with my love
And when you are ready and prepared to endow
Fertile and ready to rear, into thee my seeds I shall sow
Then cherish to see life sprouting from thee
Nurtured and sheltered in thy lee
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
You belong to me, you are my soil
I shall honour you with my sweat and toil
Thy barren heart I shall plough
And irrigate you with my love
And when you are ready and prepared to endow
Fertile and ready to rear, into thee my seeds I shall sow
Then cherish to see life sprouting from thee
Nurtured and sheltered in thy lee
In my eyes you would see
All that you were ever meant to be
