To the fading love

I waited for thee an eternity
Building intricate castles of dream
Hoping that you would come
Turn it all into reality

There was no reason to hold on
No logic fine or sign divine
I waited for thee when all carried on
All but hopes and dreams sublime

So much thee I desired
It burned me like wild fire
Waited so long yet never tired
All the pain I endured with smile

Thou left me to slowly wither
Watch me fade in longing despair
Let my dreams shatter dither
Their carcasses turn into nightmare

My soul hath turned into ash ‘Fire’
Essence withers from the soil gross
What is left is devoid of desires
